VP, Global Partnerships
Patrick Parodi is VP, Global Partnerships at UbiquitiLink, where he is responsible for developing UbiquitiLink’s network of partners ranging from large international operators and OEMs to global internet players. Patrick brings over 25 years of international experience working at the cutting edge of wireless technologies having helped launch and grow several multi-billion dollar businesses. After running PacketVideo’s carrier business, he orchestrated the acquisition of its server business unit by Alcatel (now Nokia). He was the first CMO at Amobee, the mobile advertising giant acquired by Singtel in 2011. In 2013 Patrick co-founded SignalFrame (formerly Wireless Registry) which powers a new class of graph-based proximity services. Prior to starting SignalFrame, Patrick along with Nokia launched the “LightSquared Innovation SandBox” and orchestrated an ecosystem of hardware and software companies delivering advanced wireless services. More recently he was a strategic advisor for TIP (Telecom Infrastructure Project) where he worked closely with Facebook’s connectivity team. Patrick speaks four languages fluently and was on the board of several wireless companies including Smaato (acquired by Spearhead in China) and Shazam (acquired by Apple).
