Helping mobile network operators better serve subscribers
For the world’s 800 mobile network operators (MNOs), the UbiquitiLink service solves a fundamental economic problem of expanding coverage into remote areas. Adding new cell towers in areas with a limited customer base costs too much. But the UbiquitiLink network of satellites will allow MNOs to monetize service to rural areas while also attracting new customers who previously didn’t have mobile service.
UbiquitiLink plans to closely partner with MNOs who will provide the UbiquitiLink service to their subscribers. UbiquitiLink estimates that, over the long term, providing this additional subscriber service could generate as much as $400 billion in additional annual revenue.
